Teaching & Learning 2015

Before Teaching & Learning 2015 kicks into high gear, let’s talk about federal grants on Thursday, March 12. Schedule a free 30-minute consultation with Dave Farley, founder and CEO of The Grant Doctors. The topics are up to you. Ideas include: applying for federal grants, managing federal grants, brainstorming potential grant-funded programs, communicating your grant project’s accomplishments to key stakeholders, etc. We’ll gladly accommodate two people per consultation so feel free to bring a colleague.

Our office is conveniently located near the Archives Metro station-two stops from the 7th St. Convention Center station and one stop from the Gallery Place/Chinatown station. We are also one block from the National Mall, the Smithsonian, the National Gallery of Art, the National Museum of the American Indian and just a few blocks from the U.S. Capitol.

Download and return our questionnaire to schedule a time. (.pdf form)

If you can’t make it to our office on the 12th, Dave is attending T&L2015. Please contact us to arrange a chat during the conference.

UPDATE: 3.9.2015. All consultation times are booked. Please contact us to meet Dave at T&L 2015.

Your voice in DC

How do you communicate your grant project’s accomplishments? Conference calls and submitting Annual Performance Reports are good first steps; however, they don’t reach the audiences that should hear your message. Grant program officers are genuinely interested in your efforts but, realistically, their workload doesn’t allow them the time to give your project sufficient attention.

An effective communications plan drives your message up the chain of command at your funding agency and out to key elected officials on the Hill. If you need assistance developing a powerful communications strategy and reaching out to your stakeholders in DC, contact us. We would love to help you put your achievements in front of the right eyeballs.
