On the five-point scale in our grant readiness assessment, organizations exceptional (5) at policies and procedures have:
- Written policies and procedures for (at a minimum): program and financial management; personnel; property management; purchasing/procurement; records management including retention; and travel;
- Written policy and procedure for safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information (PII); and
- Policies and procedures aligned with state law and the federal grant management Uniform Guidance at 2 CFR 200.
