On the five-point scale in our grant readiness assessment, organizations exceptional (5) with the annual audit:

• Had an annual audit by an independent CPA for a minimum of five years with no material findings.

Exceptional (5) professional development includes:

• Paid time off for employees to attend training related to their positions; and
• Employees are cross-trained in a number of positions in the event of job vacancies or prolonged absences.
