Just a quick reminder to review your written grant management policies and procedures from time-to-time. It doesn’t have to be a lengthy process, but you will want to verify they’re still current and relevant given your organization’s staff, leadership and climate and, most importantly, to make sure they’re aligned with the federal grant management regulations. An annual review is probably overkill. I suggest every two to three years. A lot can change in that time. If you go beyond three years, your manual starts to become obsolete and that’s when problems can occur.
